This facility is not available since the management wishes to meet the student in the front office personally and physically verify eligibility, check and verify certificates, verify medical and physical condition including medical records, if any, etc.
Therefore a personal visit is a MUST and interacting with the front-office staff, collection of course details, admission forms etc. and checking eligibility of age (Date of Birth) and educational qualifications etc. across the table is an ABSOLUTE MUST without which admission cannot be granted.
Fee cannot be paid online. Receipts are duly signed by the payee too before being handed over etc. Therefore a personal visit is an ABSOLUTE MUST for course inquiries/admission and payment of fee and for all process of admission and registration.
Though the academy programmes (courses) are all non-residential programmes, the academy, being located in the center of Secunderabad city, a lot of hostels both for ladies/gents are locally available within walking distance of the academy which are quite convenient. The management only assists the parents and students to get an admission into any one of the locally available hostels. The academy management does not run any students’ hostel or have any residential facility for the students.
Yes. We regularly display the different dates of notifications, last date of form submission, fee and other details of enclosure requirements etc. in the Academy Notice Board and also announce in the classrooms.
We also acquire UPSC application forms in advance, whenever possible and provide it to students including assistance to fill out the same. We also check the filled forms and correct errors, if the student so desires.
This facility provided by the academy obviates the need of running from pillar to post by the parents/students community since different exams have different bodies conducting exams on different dates, etc. This is especially true for engineering, medical entrances, Bank POs, UPSC exams etc.
The management of Officers Academy therefore provides a “ONE WINDOW SOLUTION” to this problem, thereby negating any stress associated with it for the students and parents.
Yes. We provide the list of recommended books to be purchased by the students and sometimes, if so desired by the students, we also acquire the same for the students depending upon the availability of the books with the book suppliers. A token concession is generally given by the book suppliers to the officers Academy students. Printed notes / registers / workbooks etc. are provided by the Academy to the student’s community.
We also provide detailed material, topic-wise, on different subjects including previous question papers and solved problems, question banks etc. to our students at the academy itself during the progress of the course. Different course material is provided to students on different topics and areas which are relevant to that particular course and subjects involved. The academy also conducts “MOCK TESTS” at the end of semesters, exactly in the level of the actual tests, to hone the skills of the students.
We have an entrance test followed by a personal interview along with parents, for students seeking admission into inter supported coaching courses which are 1 year or 2 years duration courses. The decision of the management is final and binding and admission can be taken by the student ONLY after clearing the written test and interview. This is because Academy inducts limited number of students only in 1st and 2nd year courses.
We do have a program of conducting the entrance tests between January to July each academic year on specific Sundays. Students who wish to appear for the entrance test needs to first contact the reception personally and collect the course details and the entrance exam hall ticket in which details of the course and the entrance exam details are mentioned.
On the specific date and time, the student should report for the entrance test along with sufficient writing material. After the test is conducted, the academy faculty evaluates the answer scripts and shortlists the students for the next round of selection i.e. interview along with parents. The final result after the written and interview is displayed on the notice board. Thereafter the student can complete the admission formalities including payment of fee etc. as per procedure.
The above entrance test and interview is not applicable for other courses where a candidate can directly buy the admission form and pay the fee and obtain an admission after going through the contents of the admission form and “Rules governing the Officers Academy” part I and II which is an enclosure in the admission form. This booklet, “Rules governing the Officers Academy” part I and II gives out detailed info about the academy and its operational procedures, rules etc. and SHOULD BE READ CAREFULLY before payment of fee. This is strongly recommended by the academy management.
Presently there are no such arrangements. But however the institution being located in the centre of the city, it is well-connected by public transportation of all kinds and therefore it is quite convenient for the students to travel using public transportation or their own personal transportation. Moreover the academy will be WELL CONNECTED for all parts of Hyderabad and Secunderabad by the ongoing Metro Rail project, which is near completion. Once operational throughout the city, dedicated transportation facility will be irrelevant totally, in coming future, for residents of Hyderabad and Secunderabad city.
